It's now 7 games unbeaten with 6 clean sheets and 5 wins. The mid-week game against Arsenal at the Emirates doesn't come any bigger. The lads from Merseyside need to continue the gritty and passionate performance if we are to get anything from an Arsenal team reeling from consecutive defeats against Man United and Chelsea.

The recent controversies surrounding John Terry does not bode well for team unity in the build up to the World Cup in South Africa. By all accounts, if Wayne Bridge recovers his match fitness, he should be part of the England squad heading to South Africa in the summer. Liverpool's captain Steven Gerrard said after the win against rivals Everton that they will now be a real threat to Arsenal and 4th place at the very least.
